Community Based Care & Support Vulnerable & Orphaned Children in Uganda
Red Ribbon Fund advocates and works to give children affected by the AIDS Epidemic e.g. Orphans the opportunity to grow up into responsible citizens under the home based Child Care Program
Red Ribbon Fund is committed to supporting orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda. Our Community Based Child Care program works to ease the suffering such children through:-
1. Child Sponsorship: We provide education support that includes school fees, school feeding, scholastic materials, school uniform, etc
2. Clothing/Beddings/Shelter: We believe every child, everywhere, should have love, shelter and protection. We provide low cost houses, and low cost house renovations, with beddings, clothes etc
3. Medical Care: Under our internal health insurance scheme, we provide affordable health care services to the orphaned and vulnerable children within their communities
4. Food Security: We provide agro based support to Orphaned children, providing seeds and tools to help them cultivate food for their home domestic consumption
